New Major Service Provider Wins Span all Geographic Theaters and Further Extend Company’s Footprint in Tier-1 Space LOS GATOS, Calif., August 5, 2010 – Procera® Networks Inc. (NYSE Amex: PKT), a developer of Evolved Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) solutions providing traffic awareness, control and protection for complex networks, today announced five major customer wins for its fiscal 2010 second quarter. During the second quarter Procera won two new Tier-1 providers, a major MSO and a major European mobile operator, and three new Tier-2 Service Providers. “These major customer wins in the second quarter reflect all our geographic theaters and both our key cable and mobile verticals,” said Jon Lindén, VP of Global Marketing at Procera Networks. “Our continued success in converting field trials into wins reflects our superior technology and unmatched level of customer responsiveness, which is enabling us to break new competitive ground and repeatedly displace the competition as Tier-1 Service Providers deploy the second generation of DPI solutions based on real experience and tangible needs.” Procera ended the second quarter with 14 Tier-1 trials ongoing or planned over the next 60 days.
