Mobile operator delivers satellite bandwidth to national wholesale broadband network, continuing collaboration with Procera for operation intelligence FREMONT, CA., Aug. 30, 2011 — Procera Networks, Inc. (NYSE Amex: PKT), the intelligent policy enforcement company, today announced that an existing Tier-1 mobile operator customer—the largest in a South Pacific nation—has chosen PacketLogic™ solutions to be the core of its new satellite bandwidth service to a new national wholesale-only, open access high-speed broadband network. Known for providing satellite bandwidth to a number of ISPs, this operator will be using both real-time enforcement and intelligence center hardware and software platforms to deliver satellite connectivity to account for coverage gaps in a national broadband network that services 93 percent of homes, schools and businesses, providing 100 Mbps data rates. The satellite and fixed wireless provided by this Procera customer will connect the remaining premises with 12 Mbps or more.
