Report Creation
The Report Creation and Layout design engine is part of the PacketLogic Intelligence Center Client, either in standalone report only mode, or bundled with the normal client to provide role-based access to reporting information. The design engine simplifies the creation of complex reports through point and click addition of titles, graphics, report data, and graphing data, all available through the PIC Client. External sources can be linked and referenced in reports, and the data dynamically queried or cached during the initial report design to speed up report development. The engine has full capabilities for error checking and run-time debugging of all content, including data sources and external links, ensuring that no time is lost when any errors are found in the report.

The datasets used in the reports and the analytics are only limited by the creativity of the report creator. Procera provides a number of pre-set reports that are bundled with the PIC client that represent reports that many customers find relevant for their network, but every customer has a different take on customer data, marketing needs, varied financial models, and complicated network topologies that all must be taken into account when creating the reports. These templates can be shared by customers and placed on Procera's customer portal for use by other service providers as desired.

Report Publishing
The print-ready reports from Report Center are graphically rich, and include extensive capabilities for explaining and annotating the data to make it understandable to both executives and network engineers. Most IPE solutions provide graphs or tables that can be imported into documents or presentations for delivery to the interested parties, but fail to deliver the quality of data needed to make decisions on. PacketLogic Report Studio delivers polished PDF reports that can be scheduled or run on demand, and delivered to a distribution list tailored to the interested parties. Executives that receive the reports can ask for data to be added to a report without intervention or requiring a new software release from Procera by simply adding the report to the existing template.
