The PacketLogic Intelligence Center (PIC) with PacketLogic Report Studio provides the visualization of the application and subscriber intelligence gathered by deployed PacketLogic systems. Leveraging the subscriber and location awareness provided by the PSM and the application intelligence provided by the PRE, the PIC is able to present a wealth of information to the network operator based on the behavior of their network. The PacketLogic Report Studio is the first Network Intelligence and Analytics solution for Intelligent Policy Enforcement systems that provides comprehensive report creation to answer the business questions network operators need answered to run their business. PacketLogic Report Studio delivers print-ready reports that can be customized to focus on complex analytics that can be used to shape investments in network infrastructure, new services marketing, and product launch decisions. The PIC gives network managers access to relevant network traffic intelligence that enables network optimization, creation of appealing services and protection against malicious behavior.

PL1420 is the high-end PacketLogic™ Statistics server (PLS) in the PacketLogic Intelligence Center product family. Based on an industry standard, highly reliable server and storage hardware architecture, PL1420 comes with high availability and carrier-grade reliability. PL1420 consists of two components – the PL1420 Control Node (CN) and the PL1420 Storage Node (SN). Multiple SNs can be connected to each CN which enables scalability at par with the Tier-1 PL10000 PacketLogic Real-Time Enforcement (PRE) systems . PL1420 supports the entire PRE product family, with the ability to support multiple PRE systems from a single PL1420.    

PL1200 is the Statistics server in the PacketLogic solution, also known as PLS, that aggregates traffic data. The PL1200 is a reliable file server with 2 or 5 hard disk drives in a RAID1 or RAID5. This enables fast writing of large data quantities and data resilience in case of a HDD failure.

The PL1200 is a 19" rack-mounted server and can either be connected directly to the PacketLogic rule system sitting in the packet path, through a patch cable, or remotely to the PL1200's IP address. Only the relevant data, i.e. the DRDL data from PacketLogic, is sent to the PLS. This makes the PLS scalable to manage several PacketLogic Real-Time Enforcement (PRE) systems. Typical installations manage 3 to 7 PL7600/PL7620 per PL1200, depending on type of traffic and user behavior. Multiple PL1200 can also serve one PRE, like in the case of PL10000.
